TECHNICAL REOUIRMENTS FOR LINE PIPES
SCOPE OF SUPPLY :
Seamless steel linepipes acc. to Api 5L Graded for size 1.315″, and other required sizes must be Acc .to API 5L Grade X42. ‘
All required linepipes should be beveled ends for welding acc. to ANSI B 16.25, double random -Length (10 -13) m, suitable for sour service acc. to NACE N1R 01-75 (L.E),
The product specification level ( PSL ) must be ( PSL1) for size 1.315″ through 3 1/2″ and ( PSL2) For size 4 I/2″ and larger
The hardness at any point shall not exceed than 22 HRC.

General Requirement:
E- The following certificates are required :
■ Material chemical analysis. Mill certificates .
* Material mechar icai properties. Mill certificates .
* Material treatment chart (if applied ).
* Hydrostatic test procedures & reports .
■ Surface hardness report ( NACE MR 01-75 latest edition ).
F- Quality plan, quality manual, compary back ground & profile are required also for SPC review ( with vendor technical offer),
G- The following data shall be marked on each pipe using high visible waterproof markers.
■ Heat number.
■ O.D (inch) x W.th. (inch) x L (m.m).
* Weight: (kg) per 1m Length .
_ Manufacturing codes & standards,
■ Hardness HRC .
■ API Monogram
H- Each pipe shall be supplied with end protectors and sea transportation paints for the Pipes .
E – The required pipes must be supplied ir： bundles . Each bundle should be contains one size only.
If the bundle contain more than one size , Sorting t; ese pipes in the field will be in the contractors Account ( vendor tc conilrm).
Note： All a/m certificates, procedures Sc reports must be done under witness of an
IntemarionaJ neutral controlling company to certify that the requested line pipes
Are conforming with above technical specliication and acc. to API- 5L
And a certificate issued by aforesaid neutral company must be submit with the supplies.
