Features:Alloy B exhibits excellent resistance to reducing environments such as moderate concentrations of sulfuric acid and other non-oxidizing acids. It also resists stress corrosion cracking caused by chlorides. Hastelloy B has poor tolerance to oxidizing environments; therefore, it should not be used in the presence of iron or copper salts, as these salts can lead to rapid corrosion failure.
Microstructure : Alloy B has a face-centered cubic (FCC) structure. Its chemical composition is designed to provide exceptional resistance to reducing environments, particularly moderate-concentration sulfuric acid and other non-oxidizing acids.
Applications:Equipment handling that reduces the chemical environment; and chemical processing industries involving hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and acetic acid.
Performance Characteristics
1. Excellent corrosion resistance: N1001 nickel alloy seamless pipes offer outstanding resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments. Whether exposed to solutions containing specific chemicals or to salt corrosion in marine settings, they effectively prevent material degradation and extend service life.
2. Good high-temperature performance: These seamless pipes maintain stable performance even at elevated temperatures. They do not suffer from a sharp decline in properties as temperatures rise, making them suitable for demanding high-temperature industrial applications.
3. High strength and toughness: They possess significant strength, enabling them to withstand specific levels of pressure and external force. Additionally, their good toughness ensures resistance to fracture under impact or vibration, guaranteeing safety during operation.
